"And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground."
Luke 22:41-44
In this scene Jesus is praying to his father asking him, "if it is your will take this cup from me."
Well, what is this cup? God's wrath.

Jesus in this moment is in such distress, knowing what's to come, that his body begins to sweat drops of blood! Just imagine how stressed a person must be for their body to sweat out BLOOD!
BUT nevertheless, Jesus is so faithful to his father and the plans he has for the world, knowing fully well that he is the one and only Savior in this world of sinners. So, Jesus, still willingly follows his father's instructions, to be beaten and abused to the point of being unrecognizable, and die on the cross.
Now, how can this relate to our everyday life?
It's simple. If Jesus knowing how, when, and where he is going to die and still respects and follows what God's plan is, then WE, God's sons and daughters can and should willingly follow his guidance and will for our lives. You may be stuck in a gloomy, confused season, or God is taking you to a place where you're reluctant to take the next step, but trust in Him like Jesus did; because the outcome will always be good. The outcome of living out His will leads to eternal life! Our future as believers is promising and lovely. Don't lose heart!
“As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”
Psalms 18:30
